For this project, we have decided to do a film trailer for a film/documentary. The case we have decided to do 'The Lesbian Vampire Killer'. For us to be able to create a film trailer on this case, we needed as much information as possible. So in my spare time, I watched a few hours worth of different YouTube videos that covered the case and noted down as much information as I could in a google docs page. This ended up being 4 pages long. I split the notes into different sections as seen below. These sections are 'trigger warnings', 'Childhood and adulthood' and 'Start of/murder'. This is because it is easier to look for certain information we might need to use for the film trailer.
- This is a list I have created of all the warnings that could effect someone mentally. I have added this in at the top because I don't want anyone to effected and want to take part in the project. We might put this at the beginning as a trigger warning so people know what topics/themes it contains. This will help them decide weather or not to carry on watching.
- In the first section (Childhood and Adulthood), it talks about Tracey's living/parental situation, the abuse she received from her grandmother and other members of the family and Tracey's different relationships and friendships. The first section will be on everything surrounding her childhood which will then lead onto things that happened in her adulthood excluding the murder.
- In the other section (Start of/Murder) it talks about the night of the murder and all the events leading up to the murder, including the murder and everything that happened after the murder. This includes Tracey's diagnosis of D.I.D, her court hearing/sentencing and where she is now (when she was released from prison).
